Post-Acute Rehabilitation
Madonna Manor’s recent $35 million investment into its newly constructed community offers a state-of-the-art Medicare Certified rehabilitation program designed for those recovering from acute situations such as cardiac conditions or stroke, fractures, and hip or knee replacements. Our team of specialists provides the personalized physical, speech and occupational therapies as well as other services needed to maximize performance, achieve optimal independence and get patients back to a normal lifestyle.
Memory Care
Madonna Manor’s memory care program is unique, offering a revolutionary, personalized approach for Alzheimer’s and dementia care. The Behavior-Based Ergonomics Therapy (BBET) program was the first of its kind in the nation. It works by preventing the two main causes of behavioral problems in Alzheimer’s and dementia patients: boredom and disengagement. The memory care program is features two secured neighborhoods, each comprised of 12 private suites. Residents have exclusive use of beautifully appointed private dining, living and activity areas, memory garden with private walkways as well as more intensive personal care and closer supervision by specially-trained staff specialists 24-hours a day.
Skilled Nursing
Madonna Manor’s innovative approach to long term care focuses on improving quality of life for both older adults and their care givers. The 60 bed skilled nursing area is configured into three distinctive households uniquely designed and decorated. Each household features 20 fully furnished private or shared suites with a great room with 18 foot ceilings, fireplace, flat screen tv, and full service kitchen. Professional nursing staff members monitor each resident’s medical condition, and provide services through an individualized care plan. As needs change our team adjusts the care plan, keeping residents and their family actively involved in the decision making process.
